The reddishness of it really adds to the sketchy feel ... and Gaara manages to look sad and cute at the same time. Your Shukaku looks just so ... snuggable, especially in the top sketch. Plus Gaara rox mah sox. This pic is GRRRRR~EAT!
Yes, the 愛 on his forehead does mean love ... it's read "ai". And you know what's really weird about that? It's said "ai" in both Japanese and Mandarin! I'm very proud of myself, knowing that ... I mean, I'd only been studying the two languages for 2 and 5 years respectively. Just sittin' there in class one day, when I was like, "Hey! That's ai, and that's ai! OMG THAT'S CRAZY!" And my friend went, "Yes. Yes it is," and proceeding to
