In my OC head cannon and possibly ChipmunkRaccoonOz 's AU too. MY OC Emily not too long before she turns 10 and becomes a Pokemon trainer. She goes to Stow-on-Sides with her auntie whose going their on business for professor magnolia as she's her 2nd assistant next to Sonia. She invited Emily along who was keep to go meet Bea as her brother Mike had met her on his first pokemon journey, she's also keen to see Galar karate in action first hand and maybe even try it out herself as a one time experience. Also Emily and Bea are both tomboys who go barefoot a lot.
So here Emily meets Bea outside her dojo, yeah in my head cannon I thought I'd have Bea run a dojo as well as a GYM and she dose the odd Galar karate lessons.
