Description Here in the Northeastern Savannah it is the end of the rainy season, and the flourishing vegetation provides food for creatures of all sizes and shapes. A colony of Fortress Ants (Atta Castraconditor) are gathering so much plant material that they have cleared out an entire section of grass and small plants. They avoid the toxic Bulb Grass (Bulbugramen Glutevenenum) which release an adhesive, poisonous mucus when disturbed. On a rock in this clearing lies a male Triceratops Beetle (Dynastes Triceratops) which has claimed this rock as his perch. A Cobalt Hexamander (Hexasaurus Cobaltum) is looking to feast on some straggler Fortress Ants. Another ant eater has arrived at the scene, a Giant Shaggy Aardvark (Orycteropus Hirtusai) has come to feast on the bountiful ants. These three meter long Aardvarks are still dwarfed however by the massive Giant Elephantidon (Elephantidon Grandis). When fully standing up this behemoth can be 5 meters tall, however this individual is currently sitting and lounging as it pulls down an Acacia branch down to feed on the succulent leaves. It uses its prehensile tongue to pluck off leaves and chews them down with their batteries of teeth, which greatly resemble the tooth batteries of elephants.
