sometimes its fun to giggle at how tactics was translated . . . but at least it was translated.Another pic in the slew of commissions that has headed my way. It's awesome. I might get money out of this.
and once again my scanner ruined the cool 3d effect i got going on. haruka n kan-chan were drawn on seperate pieces of paper then glued together (try not getting along NOW!
) . . . along with one of haruka's wings, the background... If you tilt it the light catches on haruka's wings.... -hypnotizes myself-
sometimes im a sick puppy and want to keep my own work, but i know theyll make someone else way happier.

0.o I didn't know you made an adorable picture of Haruka and Kantarou...I LOVE that couple (hugs an imaginary Kantarou plushie) Although they completly changed the anime from the manga (growls a little)

I love Kantaro's expression. Do you know how volumes there are of this manga? I've only been able to find two.

i actually talked to the lady that affectionately called me the yaoi girl. two volumes were all that were ever produced because the sells were so bad. they still hold the license, thusly nobody else is releasing the future books. i have no idea how many are actually in the series, that sounds like a google.

ps- i went to borders and the lady explained to me that theyre only releasing up to 2 of the manga because it did poorly in sales..... WAAAH

I love the details and shading - very nice. My only picky point would be that Haruka's wings look too small...

kantaro has an inner fashion guru waiting to be let out.... and the glue is just because im messy and can never be happy with what i drew, so i had to cut my two favorites out and put them together.... i cant help the fact it gave me strange satisfaction

simply for the beautiful art itself...
So................... I'll list a few. ^_^
The color scheme is FANTASTIC! I adore the simplicity of the colors you chose and how you kept everything else a grey shade with the white and the back.
Also, the expressions are adorable - simple adorable.
The wings and the flowing feathers are incredibly well drawn too!
Lastly, I am totally faving this picture.

I adore the strength of the lines here! It really solidifies the sweet and almost cuddly feeling here. I LOVE Haruka and Kan-chan as a pairing! Though, I really can only see them cuddling... then Kan-chan would probably do something to piss off Haruka before they could get much further.

Wow, this is so beautiful! It's so simplistic, but the colors you used give it a really nice original look. I'm so amazed with the lineart, it really brings out the prettiest parts of this drawing! I love the work you put into the tree branch and how it compliments the colors and pattern on Kantaro's outfit. Really nice composition too; the black wings balance out the tree branch and flower petals.
Ahh. This drawing makes me so damn fuzzy inside. :3 Hahaha I love it--I'm so glad to see you posting again, Gher!

^^ wai thank you, you managed to hit up on all the points i was going for. ive been studying woodprints and ukiyo-e lately, trying to get that japanese sense of lines down.
and the tree branch wasnt there before.... but it was so empty with just haruka's wings... so to fill up the white space i threw in feathers and flowers.

I'm absolutely loving Tactics, too. Haruka is my fave, and although Kantaro is supposed to be an adult, his artwork makes him looook so young in the manga it's scary to me. O.O
Beautiful job here. I'm loving Kantaro's expression, so very jubilant. And the expression on Haruka's face is perfect.

i was trying very hard to make haruka smile without actually smiling... and the thought on kantaro is that he found a 500 yen in haruka's obi
