Well... I finally finished my shading... took a little over a month to complete this drawing, blasted finals and all...
Here we see my second attempt at illustrating wings. Its still not perfect, mind you, but I think they may be better than the wings of my first portrayal of the Elohim three... At least, I think so.
The kissing was terrible to draw. I don't know how many erasers I went through....
But anyway:
This illustration is the second potrayal of the Elohim Three. To the fore we see the Lord Protector of the Elohim Ascended and self-styled bodyguard of the Elohim Matriarch Aeselia, Covenant, bearing the Sword of Dreams (The sword was an accident. I intended Covenant to look somewhat Japanese in costume, and I was planning for a simple katana, but my pen took a min of its own and created a hybrid saber-katana[the guard is the curving guard of a saber]).
In the background, the High Inquisitor General of the Elohim Inquisition, Lord High Zalthia (clad in his super-spiky crimson armor [can't you tell? ^_~]) sharing a 'tender' moment with the Elohim Matriarch Aeselia. (If you look closely, you can make out Zalthia's lightning bolt scar on his forehead.)
For this portrayal, I aged Aeselia somewhat, giving her the simple winged crown worn by all Elohim Matriarchs (and I decided only Elohim females wear crescent halos ~_^ ).
So... that's it. If you didn't get any of that, I suggest you read the story in my gallery entitled "Tales of Avant-garde: Vagrant Stars" that bring to light much of the Elohim.

Is not that hard, I'm a newbie in digital art and is easy. I can't colour with traditional media, yet with computer I can say I'm rather happy with the results.

wow, that looks awesome! I think you did pretty darn well drawing that intimate kissing scene up there ^.^ The detail in the wings is amazing! Can't image how long it took you. The pose is wonderfully drawn out, especially that hand. ARGH, hands are sooooo hard to draw!! >.< Anyway, great work!

And yes, I agree. Hands are hard to draw. Though kissing is still undoubtedly more difficult to render...

fantastic composition, i really like it! the wings are fabtastic, the detail works well in seperating the two seperate things going on in the pic. you;ve drawn the couple kissing well too, which isnt always easy to do. well done!!

A unique style and loooovely linart and shading. The only thing is, the face of the guy in the background is a little strange and the wings are a little too perfect to be natural, but part from that amazing!

i really like your concepts!! it's a wonder one person can think of so much material on their characters. -_-
the kissing is great, i'd say it was worth all that time (and rubber! >_< i hate drawing kisses) and the wings are pretty fine for a second attempt. you know, wings are actually built like arms. so when you draw wings, remember the basic bone structure of a human arm and i think you'd have an easier time. and also, feathers get shorter, nearer the body. that gives a wing it's tapered shape
