founder and manager of the "hospital" staffed by vampires who kidnap luke and imprison him. they draw blood from him every day for 5 years and fill glass tanks from which the staff can directly drink from as a casual beverage.

center: formerly "Lucien", nicknamed Luke
status: vampire, formerly a forced blood donor

dislikes: having blood drawn
as a human, luke was kidnapped in the 1850's in england and locked up in a vampire facility disguised as a normal hospital. his nurse, Melody, visited his room and took care of him every day. however, 3-4 times a day she would come in with a syringe and draw blood to feed the other vampires. despite this, Luke is still attracted to her, and when she orchestrates his transformation into a vampire to help him escape, he forgives her. he spares her life and takes her with him.

became a vampire of her own will 10 years before Luke was imprisoned. she is Lukes personal nurse who visits and tends to him daily, as well as the one who draws his blood daily. after a few years, she becomes attached to him, and decides she'll help him escape. she convinces the rest of the vampire staff to bite him and make him a vampire like them. after his transformation, he throws a violent vampire tantrum, he destroys all of the other nurses, doctors, and Doc, leaving her alive and taking her with him when he escapes.
