Chapter Six: The Duel For Aiko

One week later, you were at work doing paper work for Seto. You smiled at each other as you walked out the door to deliver some papers. You went to the elevator and walked in. A man in a trench coat and hat hurried on beside you. You look over at the man curiously. He glanced over at you with cold eyes and you looked away. You had a bad feeling about the man and was starting to get nervous. Finally the elevator stopped and you got off and glanced back as you walked down the hall. Your eyes widened as you see the man following you and you start to speed walk to a door to open it. The door was locked so you went to another door and tried to open it. But it was locked too. You start to panic as tears ran down your face and you looked back at the man who was still following you. Suddenly you feel the man grab your wrist and you scream until he covers your mouth with a wet cloth. You smell something funny and then your vision blurs and you black out, "Seto...." you thought.

You groan and wake up, slowly. You look around and see that you are in the middle of an dueling arena. You try to move but your arms and legs are bound and you saw that you were on the ground. You lower your head as tears run down your cheeks and weep, "Not again." you thought, "Seto...". Then you hear laughter and quickly look up to see a man standing on one of the duelist squares. "Yes, go ahead and weep. It will get Kaiba to want to rescue you more." he said. "Who are you?" you asked him as you glared at him. "I am the owner of Baka Incorporated." he said. Your eyes widen and then your eyebrows knit together, "What do you want with Kaiba?" you asked still glaring at him. "Heh. Isn't it obvious? I want his new invention that he made." he said.  You cock an eyebrow, "What is it that Seto invented that everyone wants so badly?" you thought.

Suddenly you hear a door slam behind you and you try to look behind you but you couldn't. "Ah, he's here. So he cares for you a lot more than I thought. I was looking forward to killing you, but he spoiled it." Baka said with a frown. "He's crazy.  He's totally insane." you thought worriedly. "Why don't you be quiet and tell me what it is you want, you lowlife?" Seto said behind you.  You gasp, "Seto!" you yelled as tears ran down your face and you tried to turn around again. "I'm here, Aiko. Don't worry." he said to you. "Ha! She has to worry because she will be killed if you lose and believe me, I will kill her.  Now let's battle." Baka said with a sneer. "Battle? Is that what you want? You want to duel?" Seto asked. Your eyes widen. "Yes for that new invention you invented." the man said. Your eyes widen, "Don't do it, Seto! Don't do it for me! I will not have you hurt yourself on my account!" you yelled as more tears ran down your face. Baka clenched his teeth together, "Quiet you!" he yelled. You start sobbing and shake your head, "I am....not worth it, Seto!" you yelled sobbing. "You're wrong, Aiko. You are worth much more to me than you think." Seto said.  Your eyes widen as you gasped. "I would do anything for you, Aiko. You've changed me and for that I will be forever grateful." he continued smiling. "Seto..." you said as a tear ran down your cheek and a smile spread over your face. "Alright, Baka, let's duel!" Seto yelled at the man. You gasp as you hear his dueling disk rearrange. Baka smirked and held up a dueling disk as it rearranged. "There are rules. If I win, you will lose the girl and your newest invention. But if you win then the girl goes free and you can keep your invention. Got it?" he asked sneering. Seto grunted, "Yeah, I got it." he said, "Let's duel."

The duel went on for hours and you could do nothing but just sit there and watch with tears in your eyes as you hear Seto's grunts and groans as monsters attacked him.  Then Seto drew two more cards, "I will now play Blue Eyes White dragon!" he yelled.  You slowly look up as the blue eyes white dragon appeared above you and suddenly felt strange. Suddenly a light emitted from your pocket and you looked down. You gasp, "My blue eyes white dragon!" you thought as your eyes widened. Then it stopped and everything blurred out. You look up and your eyes widen as you see your past self in front of you, smiling. "Please help me, Kisara. I need to protect Seto." you begged. Kisara's smile spreads more across her face and then her eyes glow blue as she raises her hand up and then slashes it down. You suddenly feel your bonds cut and rub the stiffness out of your wrists as you look up again. Your eyes widen as you saw Kisara right in front of you and gasp. She gently places a finger on your forehead and suddenly you feel power fill you up. You close your eyes and suddenly you see the blue eyes white dragon in your mind, roaring.

Then you open your eyes again and Kisara was gone. You look around and see that you were back in middle of the battle. You suddenly remembered your bonds and moved your arms. You gasp as you feel that they were gone and got up. "What the?" Baka yelled as he saw you turn around and run to Seto. "Seto!" you yelled as you wrapped your arms around him, crying. His eyes widened and then he wrapped his arms around you and held you tight, "Aiko!  How?" he asked as he held you.  "I will duel in your place." you said as you held up your deck. He gasped as he let you go and pulled back a little bit, "Are you sure, Aiko?" he asked. You nod, "Yes. Now stand aside and let me handle him." you said smiling.  Seto smiled and nodded as he backed off the duelist block.  You closed your eyes and a disk appears on your wrist. You put your deck inside it and it rearranged. Seto's eyes widened as there was a white glow around you and you opened your eyes and he gasped as he saw they were glowing a bright blue. Baka sneered, "So you will be taking the place of Kiaba.  Fine.  Either way you'll still lose." he said.  "Why won't you be quiet?!" you yelled as you glared at him.  He gasped, "What?" he asked as he glared back.  "Who are you to decide one's fate?!  Now be quiet and duel!" you yelled as you draw five cards and put two down when it was your turn. Then when it was your turn again you drew two more cards and lay down your blue eyes white dragon on the field. It appears and roars at Baka. Then you have it attack him directly. It attacks and his life goes all the way down. He falls on his knees and your eyes go back to normal. You groan as you lose consciousness and start to fall back but Seto runs up and catches you in his arms.

Hours later, you wake up in your own bed and slowly look around. It was dark outside but you didn't feel tired so you got up. You quietly go to the door and open it. Then you tip toe out of your room and shut the door behind you. It was dark in the house so you had to feel your way around down the hall. Then suddenly automatic lights came on in the hallway and you could see where you were going. You quietly walk down the hall to the stairs and quietly walk down them not wanting to wake anyone up. You sneak to the kitchen and see some servants in there. You place your finger over your mouth as you smile at them, "Shh." you said as they looked over at you. They smile and wink as you go to the fridge and take out a small pint of chocolate ice cream. Then you go to a drawer and open it. You quietly rummage through it but there weren't any spoons. Suddenly you feel someone tap you on the shoulder and turn around. You smile as a servant hands you a spoon and gently take it. "Thanks." you whisper as you head for the kitchen table and sit down. The servants start talking to each other as you start enjoying the ice cream.

"Well at least you didn't lose your appetite." you hear a voice say behind you, making you jump. You turn around and see Seto behind you, smiling. "What are you doing up?" you asked him smiling. "I heard a noise down here. So I came to check it out." he said smiling as he approached you. You put the lid back on the ice cream and stand up to put it away. Suddenly you feel his arms around you from behind and smile as you lean against his chest. "I'm glad your alright, Aiko." he whispered smiling. You smiled again, "I'm glad your alright, Seto." you whispered as you turn around and wrap your arms around him.  He lifted your face to his and kissed you passionately on the lips. You slide your arms around his neck when a servant came up and took the ice cream for you. You smile against Seto's lips and kiss him back passionately. Then he pulled back, took your hand and led you out of the kitchen.
