Strawberry ice decided to tell Kurochi the truth. And no, they are not breaking up. So, remember Pink Berry or whatever? Well, when she disappeared, it was because she had been kidnapped by a resentful witch who didn't want the kingdoms to unite through the marriage of Kurochi and her. The witch took her to the cursed town of Hemlock, where all evil things reside (changelings, monsters, dragons, evil enchantress', etc.). The witch held Pink Berry captive there for weeks with barely any food or water. Finally, when she thought the princess would be forgotten, she released her into Canterlot as an orphan to fend for herself, but not before changing her appearance with magic. The witch stole the princess' wings and horn, and gave her a new name; Strawberry Ice. She told ice that if she ever revealed the truth to anyone, that the witch would come back and finish her off.

Through the power of love or whatever, somehow ice and Kurochi met again. it made Ice sad just to see him, and she tried to hate him. when he fell in love with her again, she became resentful that he would love another so soon after he had lost her. It took many years, but Ice finally gave in and let herself love Kurochi. She still couldn't bring herself to tell him the truth, not until she was positive that he loved her for her, even though she looked different, and that he wouldn't move to another pony if she were to die.

Finally convinced after many years, she told Kurochi the whole truth, around a group of friends so that they would know her story before the witch came and destroyed her.
