The Super Mario Bros Movie is just about here! And with all the trailers and TV spots that have been shared in the past half year, how can you not be excited for this movie?! We've got stunning animation that makes it hard to believe it was made by the polarizing Illumination, Chris Pratt using a Brooklyn accent for Mario as an obvious homage to the late Lou Albano from The Super Mario Bros Super Show! (I know many would've preferred Charles Martinet voicing Mario in the movie, but I personally don't think having the iconic character talk in a stereotypical Italian accent for an hour and a half would sit well with others ), Jack Black absolutely killing it as Bowser , Princess Peach being portrayed as a badass girl boss instead of a naïve girly girl who gets frequently kidnapped in most of the games she's in, Charlie Day doing a solid job as Luigi, Keegan-Michael Key making Toad sound tolerable, and of course, the many references to the Mario franchise. This movie is definitely going be very enjoyable.

So, in celebration of The Super Mario Bros Movie premiere, I decided to make a Garry's Mod picture featuring models of the characters' movie counterparts standing by a realistic version of Peach's castle from Super Mario 64. I hope you like it. Also, I plan to see the movie on it's premiere day, so look forward to a review real soon.
