I just did a drawing of Kevin and Dusty as best friends. So I have a headcanon that Dusty would be best friends with Kevin. Now before you comment anything, I want you to read the description.

Dusty actually adores Kevin. Not sexually, but loving and respecting him deeply and normally. He is also a fan of Kevin. And Kevin, on the other hand, also likes Dusty and wants to be close to him more. They are the ones who are getting mistreated by other people, and they really want to be best friends and spend some time together.

Plus, Dusty also sees Kevin as his little brother. This is because Dusty has a family that is not nice to him. And Kevin never had any siblings. So Dusty loves Kevin more than anybody else, besides Gina of course.

But unfortunately, Randall and Karen are making them dislike each other, because it is part of their rule books. So neither Dusty nor Kevin can do anything about it.

However, Dusty and Kevin would secretly go somewhere safe and sound to spend time and have fun together, but only if the police department are off work or around the end of work days. So they don't do it when they are around the police department.

Sometimes, Kevin goes over to Dusty's apartment full of cats to see Dusty for stress relief. The only problem is that Kevin starts sneezing since he is allergic to cats. But Dusty gives him medicine to relieve the allergies and a clothespin to prevent any cat hairs going near him.

When Kevin stays in Dusty's apartment, Kevin always cuddles and hugs Dusty like a pillow like he is his own big brother. No, Kevin is not in a romantic relationship with Dusty. It's just brotherly love. Those two are like brothers to each other.

You see what I mean? Kevin and Dusty are the only two people that are actually nice and good. But they get no respect from anybody. I mean look at those two. They could have something in common.
