Thank you, Anita! I have no earthly idea where that title came from! It just popped into my head. I rendered another one from that flame that I called "The Secret Lives of Rock Trolls"... again, dunno where it came from! I think I was in a fey mood that day.

Thank you for the compliment! I rendered another from this flame and the title of that one is "Secret Lives of Rock Trolls" so I think you and I are thinking the same about these fractals. There IS something mystical about it.

Nope, Donna, I haven't submitted the other one yet. I've been so busy, even with working part time - and some bad news happened there. I won't go into that now. Then I'm seeing the psychologist for grief counseling once a week and that leaves me pretty emotionally raw most of the time. Instead of posting I've just been burying myself in Apo and trying to catch up here. Hey, this is the 19th comment... I've only got 18 left after this one! But, I am over 100 journals behind and over 1300 deviations behind! Sheesh! We also sent a contract in on another property. We are hoping this is the last time we will have to go through this. I will write more about it when I know which way the wind blows. It seems like every time I've written something in my journal about a place it's gone down the tubes, so I'm not going to jinx this one!
Hopefully I'll get around to posting "Secret Lives of Rock Trolls" soon, but it isn't as good as this one.

Yuppers, I'm going to post it. Not sure when though. I'm between a rock and a hard place... I want to post more often, but if I do I get sooo behind. So... that's the reason I posted my "new policy". The responses so far have been positive... am hoping no one gets scared away or takes it wrong. It doesn't mean no comments... and it doesn't mean that I won't comment. It just means I'm going to send less thank you's than I have before... I've already stopped sending you're welcome messages unless someone is new to me.

Happy 4th to you too, honey, although I'm almost too late.
Bad night for me. Just got out of the shower. I knew it would be rough... but even on guard against it, it hit me hard. It was a year and three days ago that we went to pick up Ana (she was going to visit for a month). So it was a year and two days ago that I had breakfast with Chrys and then said goodbye until she would come pick Ana up at the end of the month. I just keep remembering her today... and thinking of her... and for some reason tonight it's hitting extra hard because I keep thinking she's not coming back this time. Sorry honey... gotta go.

Purple's cool...and so is pink and blue...and a lot of other colors too! Purple is just what jumped out and smacked me in the head in this case.
