I always loved that part, not because of how it ends (Duh!), but I just love seeing Laurie all badass confronting her older brother xD

I hate Halloween Resurrection for killing off Laurie. She's this character who is supposed to represent us when we are scared and eventually finding the strength to overcome and conquer our fear. By having her die at Michael's hand, it gives off the wrong message, that no matter how strong you get, how fearless you get, the fear will conquer you in the end. Plus, poor Laurie doesn't get the satisfaction of taking Michael with her. In Nightmare on Elm Street 3, Nancy at least died knowing she saved some teenagers from Freddy (for now). Even Jamie Lee Cutis though this movie was a joke. I'm pretty sure had Laurie survived, Resurrection would not have been such a crappy movie.

I think most fans hate that movie for many reasons, Michael and Laurie just cannot die in my eyes, Michael because he's meant to be the representation of evil, and just like you said, Laurie is like our 'hope', so yeah.

I liked this scene. best out of the whole movie. My other favorite scenes were Busta meeting Michael when he dressed as Michael.
