I dont know how one can interpret it, but the first thought that hit me was the pink-purple leaf showing a little ray of hope amongst the darkness, and oh, the light in the sky, for me, would portray to be the bright past that was left behind or the bright future that is to dawn!
This is how I look at things, it has nothing to do with what you wanted to portray, just my silly mind hehe
