Description A project we did this semester in Typography. Certainly not my best work, now that I'm looking it over again... Ha-ha. But I do like how it came out. One little thing I noticed now, after I'm done with it of course, is that I goofed on the uppercase 'R' and it's just a tad too far to the right... not necessarily a big deal, except that we were supposed to follow grids for the assignment. Whoops...

It might be hard to tell, depending on your monitor, but I was using opacity on most of it to show how Bookman, the font, has continued to resurface over the years, being remade, etc. I think I might have even mentioned that in the wall of text that makes up the 'background.' It's a paper we had to write to go along with the assignment, and then I just repeated it twice more to take up the rest of the white space... The 'watermark' was recommended to me to be put on. I seriously doubt it is going to be snatched for any reason, but hey. (Plus you can't hardly see it~)

Why's it two different directions? Because it's sadly intended to be horizontal, anyway, but that's beside the point. The alphabet and background text isn't the main focus, and so that's why, when it actually IS horizontal, you focus on the darker, main text first. Or something like that. Ah... I had more to say on it to defend my crummy little design, but of course, do you think I could remember any of it? Ha, nope.

Only font used was Bookman Old Style, made in Adobe Illustrator.

I'm definitely going to revisit this at some point... but probably not for awhile. Let it sit and collect dust before I come and brush it off again. Until that time, by all means, give me all the critique you can muster. I want to get better at this! I know I can improve on it, so give me your suggestions!
