I like this! Love the use of blue here, it definately makes sense. The composition is amazing.

And I tired of pencil and pastels. Wanna work with oils too but it is much harder then pencil you know. So I have to learn it at first. Anyway not so important which tool you use, just do it with your heart and all will be great. Wish you a lot of inspiration.

I was exactely at the point you are now when i started painting with oils... And you're right, it's a lot more difficult. in fact I ecpected the same results as i reached with acrylics... just don't expect anything. for me it's the most difficult technique. Wish you good luck with the oils, you're gonna do good!

hum...
in portuguese language there's a word to express this felling, "saudade". It's the only language that have it on the world... We have also a music thats based on that felling it's called "fado". Maybe you alrady eard "Marisa" she has an amazing presence, voice and the lyrics are superb. When I saw the painting one music came on my mind "o meu fado". I hope you could ear it, I also hope you could understand the lyrics... It's a very strong musical poetry. Like your paint, a very strong canvas poetry...

hey.. unfortunatelly I can't speak nor unterstand portuguese at all but I will try to find the music. I think music can be understood without understanding the lyrics... music is the same language as painting or drawing. there is no language needed to understand...
