FOR SALEHappy New Year everyone!
So here's the result of my first poll... even though most people voted for Charlize Theron and Gisele Bündchen was second, I still went for her because she's so beautiful and I've already drawn Charlize. So that was the story about why I decided to draw this. Oh, plus, this is just the most gorgeous reference picture EVER!
I'm not entirely honest about how it turned out. On one side, I like the colors but on the other side, something about the face is wrong and I just can't figure out what it is! If anyone notices a mistake, please, please tell me!
This took me forever to draw, I'm guessing about 40 hours.
It's Caran d'Ache color pencils on watercolor paper!
I hope you like it even though it doesnt really look like Gisele!

Your dash is perfect. I loved the colors, lights and shadows.
Perhaps the top of the nose is a slightly wider, but maybe it's just an illusion created by deviant logo;

And yeah it is, one of my favoroite places to actually get motivated. i think if it wasnt for this place, i wouldnt have gotten as much interested into art as i was before. i mean i was interested, but in my area there is not enough people who worked on art at the time so it was hard to find something motivating.

It's the smoothest paper ever. and very thick, too! [link] This is the website I ordered the Bristol pad, I've used Canson before, It's a reliable brand. If you find it somewhere, I can also recommend the 'Lana' and 'Winsor & Newton' Bristol pads!

A trick that I've found that sometimes helps is to mirror the picture after upload to get a different perspective on it from the original, then what's bugging you usually pops out.
