sorry for being a bit missing in action recently i got weighed down by deadlines and exams - but it's the easter hols now: i.e. TIME TO DRAW!

anyway, with this portrait, i wanted to do something a little different while still using the same methods i love the theme i wanted to portray was "fear" or worry... something to represent how things are going at the moment... i'm not 100% sure that i quite managed this, but had a lot of fun along the way

materials:
- 4B,6B,4H wooded pencils
- kneaded eraser
- Bristol board
- mechanical pencil (2B, 0.5mm)
- 6 or 7 cotton buds
- 1 cotton pad
- several dirt-cheap paintbrushes

oh and also about 9 hours (i timed it!) but it's very small for that amount of time...
