Thank you Edie. My husband always wonders how on earth I get any shots at all, because in reality my hands are very unsteady, but I just seem to have developed the knack of knowing just when to press the shutter and about 90% of the time the shots are spot on! It's all quite miraculous really, and so much fun to do too!

I was also reminded of murano beads looking at your drops. Little ferns encased inside. Would make a lovely necklace.

Oh yes those too. In fact I have a small collection of those which I mix and match on a necklace depending on what colours I'm wearing sometimes.

Beads are my favourite things. I got to like them when I was a child and became fascinated with dewdrops. We still had doilies then over the milk jug and those little beads were to me just like dewdrops. It's why your photos of water droplets appeal to me so much. Little sparkling worlds on their own.

I remember those too! I agree. And I'm fascinated by the colours seen in dew drops too, absolutely love them, but it's very rare the camera can also pick those colours up

Yes, I had a whole row of raindrops along the edge of the roof the other day all flashing the rainbow's colours plus bright white and the camera didn't see what I saw.
