THAT'S IT. Despite what I've said in the artist comments, NO ONE IS GETTING THE POINT OF MY RANT. So comments are now disabled to avoid the people who comment "Ugh I don't like this pairing" ON A PICTURE THAT'S OBVIOUSLY A PAIRING THEY DON'T LIKE. I mean why even look at it if it's obviously UK/Japan?What's the point telling me you like US/UK anyway, it's not like I'm going to stop liking my pairing and start liking yours just because you told me so
England and Japan are from Hetalia and don't belong to me. SAI Paint Tool for 3 days on and off.

Ok, call me crazy... but what the heck is up with the England America Japan... Germany pictures I think I am suddenly seeing everywhere. At first I thought some one created original characters for each country and thought it was an interesting idea, but I'm seeing them everywhere, and I am totally lost... could you fill me in, because when someone comes to me requesting that I draw something I don't even get, that is when I realize I'm out of the loop... I just need to know and you seem like as good a person as any to ask.

Ahaha, these are from an online japanese webcomic called "hetalia" that have characters representing a country. America is seen as a guy that has a hero-complex, England is seen as a gentleman who used to be a hardy pirate, Canada is seen as the person under America's shadow.. etc etc.
Hetalia is a pretty popular webcomic, and the anime has just come out with 5 episodes. You can start reading the manga here: [link]

I'm not angry at people who like US/UK, I'm just annoyed when they go to UK/Japan fanworks (especially when it's -obviously- UK/Japan) and comment going "I PREFER US/UK, US/UK IS BETTER"
Because it's really all about tastes IMO. I like my pairing, you like yours, and I'm cool with that. It's just annoying when someone runs into another pairing and acts like a complete pairing nazi, and that the person should be immediately converted into their own pairing.
If you want to see how bad it can get, you should see one of the UK/Japan vids, where it had about 8 pages of US/UK people going "This is a nice vid, but I like US/UK" or "US/UK IS SO MUCH BETTER, UK/JAPAN SUCKS"
In the case of Spain/S.Italy, S.Italy isn't topping Spain, and Spain isn't claiming S.Italy as his brother, more like a cute cleaning servant, if that helps. Spain refers to S.Italy as his "precious", not as his "little brother" like UK refers to US. XD;

i don't agree with ppl claiming their pairing as superior to another person's pairing... so you're absolutely right, ppl need to just chill and respect another person's pairing without shoving their own pairing in someone else's face. it's all about respect, ppl!!

Yeah actually! I think in hetalia's case, it's easier to like multiple pairings with the same character in it. UK is just so lovable that there's so many pairings of him with US/Japan/France. I like France/UK a little as well, and Greece/Japan is cute.
I think it's nice to have such diverse characters in hetalia, because a lot of pairings become possible. And although I've run into plenty of pairing nazis, hetalia's fanbase is actually not as bad as some other anime.
