Reason: He has long Hooked claws and a long thin tail that curls as a hook.

Story:
HookClaw was Thunderkit(flower), FawnKit(Blaze) and StormKit(Tear) Father when he commited his first crime against the clan.
It is known that before his kits where born (at the time Bluestar was just a kit) he had been ploting against PineStar. But his crimes became eminent when SunStar took lead.
HookClaw didnt wanted control over the clan anymore (now that he had three kits to look after) he wanted just one thing... Kill one certain cat: ThistleClaw
It is unknown why they hate eachother so much.
probably because ThistleClaw had always bothered HookClaw when he was an apprentice, maybe it was because he would have been an deputy instead of him... no one knows.
But in orther to make the other suffer he could do such terrible things Starclan still trembles to this day.
He was the one who proposed BlueFur as deputy in orther to ruin ThistleClaw's dream of becoming one.
in Exchange ThistleClaw nearly killed his mate.
and so on the battle agains the two continued until that dreadfull day PhanterStalk died.
HookClaw blamed it all on ThistleClaw and swore vengance on him and his apprentice TigerPaw.
It is known for a fact that HookClaw was the one who killed ThistleClaw.
He later took his own son (StormPaw) as an apprentice and taught him the way of hate.
But his revenge wasent complete he needed to kill Tigerclaw.
Even though he was near to do so, he and his son were stopped for "ploting against the clan" (who would have known, if he had succeded a lot of happy things would had come for the clans U_U)
And exiled...
years later both were later executed by TigerStar, who ripped their throats open (mostlikely because they refused to join TigerClan and atack ThunderClan and i do note here: he loved his clan most likely because he had his kin in there...)
if you watch closely you can still see the claw marks on his throat.
HookClaw can be seen roaming the Place of no Stars. looking for ThistleClaw to continue their battle.
and if he does they will fight for moons until someone stops them.
