Uh, I mean…
To be honest, I HATED the “good guys” in RE4. *possible spoilers alert!*
Leon was a wise-ass with a stereotype-emo-haircut. Ashley was whiney as hell (and seriously, if I was trapped in a place full of crazy people trying to kidnap me/turn me into a monster, the LEAST of my problems would be if someone happened to see my panties.)
And Ada… eh… she was ok other than that she seemed to have forgotten everything that took place in RE2 between her and Leon.
So I was actually kinda rooting for the bad guys. XD;
Also, I got inspiration for this pic after reading some of ’s slash-fanfics. So I guess that this is kind of a tribute for her.
And her latest journal bashing Stephanie Meyer made me cry tears of joy.

Hahah! I'm not much into yaoi or anything, but I couldn't resist such an awesome rendition(realistic, like it could be an official CG art of Resident Evil 4, that's how awesome it is) or Ramon Salazar here (and Saddler, but I like Salazar even more).
It's great to see Salazar without his hat. Fantastic work with the style and details here.
Yeah, the major issue I had with Resident Evil 4 was them downplaying the biohazardous (even the game in Japan was named after that because it dealt with biohazardous outbreaks) incident with Las Plagas in favor for the action and showcasing how badass the returning characters are. I wish there was more backstory to the villagers and infection of the parasites. In the past games, you got to know the city that was destroyed and it gave you an emotional attachment to Raccoon City. That's why it's everyone's favorite arch in the Resident Evil storyline. Whenever you see footage of the city being wiped out by the missle the government launched, there's this sadness, like it was your own hometown being destroyed. Anyway...
Leon didn't bother me, but Ada did. She just came off as this unappealing femme fatal that was a heartless bitch. All seductive and fanservice-y, but no personality or a nod to what happened in Resident Evil 2. It's like Resident Evil 2 never even existed (It's like Capcom hates Resident Evil 2, no remake, no part of it in Umbrella Chronicles, not much of a nod to it in any of the games past Code Veronica, and only a brief flashback of it in Degeneration).
Thing is, I really liked Ada in Resident Evil 2, she was a no-nonsense agent that was had a job to do, but still had a glimmer of humanity that shown through when Leon came into the picture. In Resident Evil 4, she was just plain unlikeable to me. Everything about Ada in Resident Evil 4 is like the anti-thesis of what she is in resident Evil 2.
That's why I'm worried about Resident Evil 5, that it would be just a showcase of how awesome the old characters (especially Wesker) are and how much ass they can kick. I mean, that's fine, but I don't like it when they downplay the urgent situation and importance of a biohazard outbreak in favor of big, hollywood-esqe action.

To be honest, I don't really care for the upcoming RE-games. In the sense that it seems like the whole RE-feeling of the games have disappeared.
I mean sure, they're good action games, but not good Resident Evil-games, if you get my point. XD;
I'll just keep on playing the classics (I just made a blind run of RE3 on Youtube, it was a fun game. XD) complete with REmake, RE0 and Code Veronica.

Oooh! Resident Evil 3 was my favorite with Resident Evil 2 being number one. I <3 Nemesis and Mikhail. They were so damn awesome! So was the dodge function. Seriousy, everyone thinks of Leon as the first to be known to dodge enemy attacks, but it was actually Jill and Carlos (along with Mikhail and Nicholai) that were the first to do any manuevers besides stand and shoot.
I love that dodge system even though it's tricky as hell. It kept you on your feet, helped avoid hits, and still kept the traditional Resident Evil gameplay the same.

Dodge system was fun. I got a kick out of dodging Nemesis (I did use him as practice and found myself restarting back to a save point). Lot's of fun, lot's of fun.
