Piece for contest. Looks like some Moscow company wants to make film kinda Frozen or so on, so they have announced a drawing contest. The task was rather vague. No information about the setting and characters properties, except that they are a naughty princess and old magician, and on the background there need to be a magical tree in the plane empty field. Точно. Я хотела подождать пока другие тоже выложатся, но по итогу закончила куда быстрей. Пришлось быть первой. Ну, все равно я вряд ли придумаю что-то более оригинальное (странного неба не получилось)

Excellent work - I love the expression on the princess' face (and her golden-red hair; my favourite colour!) and the animated cushion. The look on the magician's face is great as well. Best of luck winning the contest and being involved in the film.

Yeah, translations can be hard. Malicious means something more like 'bad', 'cruel', or 'mean' if that helps. Malicious people intend to hurt others, usually for no good reason. Descriptive words that come to me when I look at your magician are more like 'kind' 'cheerful' 'wise' 'clever' and so on. He looks like he is probably looking after or guiding the girl, and wants to protect her.

Omg, in french 'malicieux' means someone cheerful who likes to play tricks (impish). That's a super false friend (a very malicious one I would say).
