8x10 on 110 lb. paper done with Prismacolor colored pencils.I never get tired of painting cat portraits because they have such wonderful eyes. This calico kitty was done from a ref. pic from Wetcanvas.

Thanks for the nice compliment. I strive to get as realistic as possible and colored pencils work great for doing detail and that helps me accomplish this much realism.

That is wonderful. I think I enjoy doing the cats more than anything, although I am a dog person......lol.... but the cats have such expression and look that they make wonderful subjects. Good luck with your new sketches. I will watch for them.
