Description
Once I was finished with the picture, I realized how fast I painted it.... (About 7 hours) The picture should show a sun goddess, but still not. It's just a woman who has different symbols / things that symbolize the sun.
The small ball (which is supposed to be a star / sun) as the goddess swallows symbolize Rahu the Indian demon. The necklace pendant symbolizes the Egyptian god Khepri - are associated with a beetle that shape "pooballs" (pooballs also associated with the sun). The false wings, is the Icarus wings. It is a "sun symbol" of pride and lack of respect. Finally, we have the universal symbol of death , rebirth and the Sun, the Phoenix bird.
Diell means sun in Albanian. I just put in an E at the end. Thaadaa! Dielle!
Honestly , I just bored when I made the picture. I expected nothing from it. Though once I start painting with watercolor and came in to the paint-mode , I could't stop continue with it.
Ps. The small dots are stars. It is the northern starsky in January.
