I really like how you showed the water against the dark background. The contrast is great, the water seem so lifelike. The details on the duck are just as great.

The first thing that caught my eye is the fact that the feet have tiny claws on them. On a duck you wouldn't really expect it but you managed to capture them without making them look.. unreal if you get me. Did you use a reference photo? Brillant detail.

 Yes, I found a reference photo on the internet, that I based the painting on.  I couldn't find a source for it though, but if you search "ducklings", you will probably see it!
