There's a bunch of rules about what you can show on television on a Y rated show. Note that Flurry Heart was kind of just taken aside for this sequence because it's an automatic Y7 to show a baby in any sort of danger. They probably had to show them alive or conscious even though later they said they didn't remember it at all.

I regard this scene as one of the most traumatic scenes in the whole MLP series and it induces fear, and seeing this scene makes me feel like they are being raped

As the very 1st person to comment on this screenshot poster let me just say beautiful job!!! If you share victory, you also have to share defeat and boy did The Mane 6, Spike, The 2 Sisters, The Crystal Couple and their baby share this defeat!!! Loved seeing Princess Twilight Sparkle, Apple-Jack, Rarity, Flutter-Shy, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna all cocooned!!! A shame we never saw any on the changeling drones kidnap and cocoon them, the closest we got was 2 of them grabbing Luna from behind and pulling her back through the moon in Starlight Glimmer's 2nd dream!!! Really would've loved to see that and also would've loved to be the one to rescue them!!!
