My Team Rocket Grunt costume for Anime Banzai 2011.

Ekans is paper mache over a skeleton of cut up soda bottles and pipe cleaners, kept stiff and in place with duct tape. The PokeBall is a styrofoam ball covered with a couple layers of paper mache to make it smooth and easier to paint. And I crotcheted the hat myself. Everything else was normal clothes, well except the 'R', that was felt I cut out and sewed on.

Obviously paper mache's not the most flexible of materials, so getting him on and off my head was a little annoying, but still do-able. He's very light though so the only time I needed to take him off was to show him off. lol I even got a Hall Cosplay award!
