I won this sweet boy, so he will now be Haneul's new best bud

I have such a weak spot for appaloosas, I saw this beautiful design and just had to try my hand at getting him The opportunity to sit down and paint for myself again after weeks of hard work on commissions was also really nice, although I do feel it was good for me to be away from it for a little while. My inspiration has been refreshed and I feel a lot less stiff and critical of my workflow again.

Personality: Sinbi is quiet, withdrawn stallion. He is definitely hard to ride, but the biggest challenge is connecting with him on a deeper level and getting to understand him. He treats every human superficially until they've truly put in the time and effort to get him to open up, although his deeper emotional side can be seen around other horses almost immediately. He bonds very strongly with them, and doesn't do well being by himself. He will be wild with people who don't listen to him and who aren't sensitive to the most subtle cues in his body language, and he is truly a deep mystery that needs a gentle, patient person to figure him out.

I have drawn this rider (Nova) before, although only once in a previous art bid . I've spent time mentally fleshing her out, but I'd like to try and take the time to draw her more often in the future
