Description
Collaboration between myself and grayorca of the current group of orcas in our Moreton Bay Oceanarium roleplay.
I drew all of the sketches and colored by characters (Peachy, Enzi, Queeky, Kopa, and Skate) and Gray lined and colored my sketches of Gunnar (male with flopped fin and chili pepper shaped eyepatches) and Jigsaw (female with the puzzle piece shaped eyepatches), and also added the background
Note: fictional characters and artwork do not represent my views on reality. I do not support cetacean captivity.

This was an interesting one. For me, making the colors on Gunnar and Jigsaw a match with the others was a fun challenge. Seems like a more simplistic method was called for, in addition to adding more shadows/highlights in a layer atop the originals. The background was a lot of improvisation, more or less.
Overall, I'm glad it turned out as expansive as I imagined it being. Seven characters are a lot to put together in one scene.

I sketched all of the poses in one long power-drawing session, except for Jigsaw. I ended up scrapping her original pose and sketching the one shown here later on.

For group paintings, I draw/color them each on separate pages/files and paste them all into the same file to use as the finished product

or if it's easier just draw Mouku and Ano? Sketch and Lineart and i shall color with BG?

It would definitely be easier for me to do just Mouku and Ano; my computer has been struggling lately and larger projects really strain it. It took almost two months from start to finish for Moreton Mob to be finished.
Did you have anything in mind for poses?
My lines are always MS Paint usable

I'll see what I can come up with, but it might be awhile. I'm expected to lose power due to the storm that's hitting us currently
