Description Here's another quick one where I leveraged a speed painting I did at a local figure drawing workshop as a basis. It's been super convenient to attend these workshops as they're right around the corner from work. If your in the vicinity of Sacramento, CA region check it out here...

Love this Dryad,a wiser version than the more common airhead-nymph depictions

Thanks! The model for this one is actually a talented artist herself.

Ah, thanks May! I heard Ian McCaig explain how monstrous elements combined in a beautiful figure can accentuate the beauty accent.

Thanks. I tried to stitch a little of the fantastic into what started as a pretty, if but a little mundane, figure painting piece.

Thank you! Classical because it's probably comfortable for the model to hold for a while. Beautiful because the model was the same, and luckily I didn't mess up the painting too much.

Ha, thanks man! I always appreciate it. One of my favorite retro monster color palettes featuring purple and green.

Great picture man. Really like this creature/lady. Ditto on the shading colors. Big fan.

Thanks a ton! I took a piece I did in a figure drawing class, then shifted it with adjustment curves to move her flesh-tones into the green range. From there I just went for the campy/spooky/monster-mash green and purple color pallet I love to use.
