could you draw Legoles saying to his father Thorin Was Right About You because what he said to Taruel and letting Thorin die he proved Thorn right that he is usless and that he and Thorin deserve a bunk bed together in the Afterlife.

and could you draw Bilbo saying to Thorin that he just like the Elves buy not sharing the gold.

No, I'm afraid I draw only illustrations to books (not movie scenes) themselves or characters as I see them. Moreover I'm on Thranduil's side and I understand his attitude towards dwarves after what happened in Doriath

so you cant draw them talking to each other either like a comic or something I see.

what do you mean on his side and what attitude haven't you notice you could never tell what he was thinking of yeah I get it the Dwarves had gems he wanted that they refused to share and he did not come to there aid when Smauge chase the Dwarves out of there home which obviously tore a wedge between there kind espicly with Thorin and his Kin and Thorin was a Jerk to for not sharing his gold with eleves and even the men of Lake town who he had owed for but he could have porved Thorin wrong for not coming to his aid but since he did not he prove Thorin right that he is no better then him and his son fought bravely but he his own father did not he was a jerk and also he what he said to Thorin how he experience dragon fire and revelaed a few scares on his chest reavling that is why he back down and did not go to Thorin aid when Smauge attack proves he just a coward.

also here is a question did Thranduil and Legoles and the Wood Elves also depart at the end of Lord of the Rings?

Tolkien wrote nothing about Thranduil's parting, but Legolas did leave. Together with Gimli

Erm, did you read the book? Legolas was not there and Thranduil never refused from helping dwarves back there. And Azog never came there. It's all made up for movies. In fact they all (dwarves, elves, men and goblins) came there just for gold and Thranduil was the one to say "long shall I tarry before I start war for gold". Well, you should look up the history of Thranduil and his own father as well as sacking of Doriath. They fought with Sauron's forces that day when Sauron lost the ring

wait both Legoles and Gimli left on the grey heavans to the land of elves?

truth is I only read a little of the book not all of it.

and I am talking about the movie not the book I know that scene in the movie where the elves left Thorin and his people hanging was only in the movie to stere up conflict and to make the film exciting.

yes I know they came for the gold that seems obvious.

and what does that mean Long Shall I Tarry Before War For Gold.

and yes I had hunch he may have been there with army of elves and men when fighting Sauron army on the slops of Mount Doom the day Sauron.

and is Doriath Thorin father or grandfather name?

also another thing about thranduil remember what Turaul said to him about how they killed off the giant spiders in Mirkwood and how she said If We Can Attack Them At There Home There Shores Spot They Could Defeat Them For Good but thrandul refused to do that because the spider hidout was outside of Mirkwood and there domain it seem so Thranduil never wanted to take any chances or finish what he started.

Probably I missed the word. Thranduil wasn't ready to make war for gold. He didn't want his people die. His own father and many elves died in Gorgoroth fighting Sauron's armies, it was very hard on him.

Doriath is a country where Thranduil's kin is from, you can read about it in Silmarillion. Dwarves treacherously killed Thingol, king of Doriath. That's where the enmity between two races originates from)
Well, Tauriel is a made-up character in that movie. In fact the producers explain Thranduil's view in additional materials to the movie. In growing darkness he wanted to protect his people. And he imprisoned dwarves cos they trespassed and also cos in the book they followed elves around the wood (well, better read that part, it'll be better than explanation) and also cos of that old enmity.

Well, I really recommend to read LoTR and Silmarillion, they give a lot of answers

well I guess that is a good reason but didn't Thorin mention something else when Thranduil made  deal with him before Thorin spat it in his face and got himself lock up in his dungen.

and is that why they have a conflict?

but in the book didn't it say they could have made good ally against Smaug but the Dawrves or just Thorin were just to stubburn to make a deal just like in the actual movie.

I guess they all were very stubborn)
In fact one of the things why I don't like all that Kile/Tauriel stuff is cos in fact Gimli and Legolas were the first dwarf and elf to become friends)

Makosharkman In reply to AnotherStranger-Me [2016-05-17 01:44:50 +0000 UTC]

indeed they were.

and I bet that is why Gimli and Legoles became friends because they learned from there parents and there ancestors mistakes.
