This is really nice; it is rather ethereal and delicate.
I heard the song too; your piece does go well with the song.

I'm s sorry for taking so long commenting on this, but I definately agree: this is absolutely gorgeous! I love how all the colors are really soft, and how they help her eyes to stand out.

That song and band are both very, very wonderful as well, have you ever heard either?

Another good song by Blackmore's Night is "Shadow of the Moon", have you heard that one?

I found a vid in YouTube. I love it so much! It kinda reminds me of Luthien Tinuviel (JRR Tolkien's ideal elf maiden), even if I feel her story is a bit cliche.

I'm glad you liked it, though I've no idea who you're talking about. What book was she in?

She has an entire chapter or two dedicated to her and her human lover, Beren, in the Silmarillion, but Aragorn also summarized her story in Fellowship of the Ring (I think, in Weathertop) when he was escorting Frodo and co. to Rivendell.

Ah, no wonder her name didn't ring a bell. I didn't remember mention of her in that part of Fellowship though, if it was in the book and not the movie, I didn't get that far.

Tinuviel's influence was pretty much book-based, although Aragorn was shown chanting the lay of Beren and Luthien in one of the deleted scenes.

Ah, okay. I don't remember anything about the deleted scenes though.

You could only watch 'em in select DVD's, I think, so it's okay. ^^
