The trick about drawing eyes, is that you find ones with black makeup around it, because then you don't have to worry about eyelashes or those wrinkles that are so hard to make look normal instead of a really old person. Protip. //notreally xD They were hard to draw! It's hard to find detailed pictures of Brandon Lee from The Crow simply because back then cameras/technology wasn't as advanced as it is now, so it's hard to get tiny detail right... also because they had to digitize his face onto a double's body in some scenes since he died before it was all done... But thanks! Drawing from real life references are the best way to improve, but I can't just sit there and draw one eyeball after the other x.x I need the eyeballs to be fun to draw, so I try to pick characters/people I like or who have cool makeup because then it's more motivating to practice.

I erased these eyes so many times then redrew them, then erased, then stared at the photo... it took a long time. Eyes are hard because they're round, yet...not round? But they're also not oval, or football shaped entirely... it's such a weird mixture of round and not round that you kind of have to keep trying until they look decent enough. But THEN everyone has individually different eye sizes places and shapes, which makes it harder to draw em too! Don't give up though~ all it takes is practice and wanting to practice too lol xD I can't just draw a boring looking eye; it needs to be eyes that I like or are cool, or are of attractive actors....

EYES ARE SQUISHY.... xD I think the reason my eyesight is so bad is cause of an astigmatism or slightly different shaped eyeball lol....idek

SO SQUISHYSQISHY! xD That's what I have too! I also think it's a reason why I'm very sensitive to light; astygmatisms cause the eyeball to be a different shape and it also lets in more light into the eyeball which is no fun for me D: Astygmatism is quite a common thing though.

xD I've been wearing my ooold oooold glasses for so long. I even have a newer pair but it gave me a migraine so I don't really want to wear them xD
