Thanks. I think it's quite a common thing for palaeoartists to do now, or it's probably going to become more common. I guess it depends on the look and style you want to achieve of course.

Thanks a lot! Yes referencing from nature and wildlife photography really helped with this. I plan on using wildlife photography as a further source of reference for future works!

Yes thats a great approach now that you mention and something that would need to be heavily considered. Definitely something I'll bear in mind with future works. I agree it's tricky with animals that were so big when the animals that potentiallyΒ somewhat resemble them these days are often only a fraction of the size. I'll certainly be digging deeper into that Mark Witton book to find out more. And thanks for your insight as well, its something I'll be definitely taking note of now.Β
