So many people let the smallest of things anger them. Others, let anger fester down deep inside of them, which makes life for all (including the angry person) an unpleasant experience. When anger starts to take hold of you, remember that you are being manipulated by the evil one and tested by our Lord. Don’t let the evil one win by failing the test.

An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins. Proverbs 29:22

And "don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry. Ephesians 4:26

Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, "I will take revenge; I will pay them back," says the LORD. Romans 12:19
