Description A Boeing 737 of Janet Airlines arrives back in Las Vegas from some unknown destination. JANET, or Just Another Non Existent Terminal, is owned by EG&G and is contracted by the military to transports workers from their hub in Las Vegas to places such as Area 51, Tonopah Test Range, Edwards Air Force Base and other places.

I had a room in Mandalay Bay which overlooked the runway, and I later had a room in NYNY with a different perspective of the airstrip. Both times, I loved to watched these guys in motion. They taxi up to their own private hangar, the passengers swiftly disembark/embark, and they takeoff in a hurry, climbing and banking like nobody's business to their secret destinations. It really is fascinating to observe.

Yea they're really interesting. I love how they're the only airline (can you even call them that?) in the United States who uses the 600 series. I was spotting at Nellis AFB during Red Flag earlier in the summer and I did a random check of flight aware and there was a Janet on the map about to go off radar to whatever destination it was going to (seemed to be either Area 51 or the Tonopah Test Ranges). I also got one on departure right after taking this photo.

Hmm, I never stopped to consider that before. You're right though; the only airlines I can think of off the top of my head with 600s are in Canada
