Description A little while ago, I flew up to Portland. I don't get to fly without my family very often, so I took the opportunity to do a lot of sketching at the airport.

My favourite is the view of inside the plane with everyone sat in their seats. ^w^ And the little girl on her laptop(?) and the old man sitting down.

Observation is key!! I love observational drawing, because it forces me to get out and confront the things I don't know, or that I take for granted on a daily basis.

I purposely got to the airport, like, 4 hours early so I could have lots of time to draw!!
