I drew this for the "Orange Contest" hosted by .Here we see my character Gwen Vega, an orange squirrel who happens to be an eco goth. Due to her dark appearance she can sometimes be misunderstood.
Gwen sees herself as sharing a few similarities with the titular fruit. Despite her somewhat rough and tough looking exterior, she's actually very sweet and good natured. She exhibits a rich personality, and feels a genuine connection with nature. Not to mention her body shape as she sports a slightly rounded middle, but is thick skinned with firm muscle fiber. People just need to look past that tough outer shell to know what a genuine sweetheart Gwen really is.
We love you, Gwen. Your kind, loving heart is worth sinking one's proverbial teeth into.
EDIT: I darkened the fur on her stomach, chest, neck, and muzzle to give it a more light brown/beige look. I also went back over parts of her clothing to improve the tones and clean things up.

If you want to replace the picture without removing it and all its likes/favourites etc. you can just go to the 'edit' button of the deviation, and switch the file with the more updated one ^^
It doesn't change anything except what you switch it with.
