well balanced composition . However , there is point in painting , where it ceases to be minimalistic and demands more , i see this that way , of being on the edge ..

Do you mean that you don't feel it in this painting? That there is nothing more than just a well balanced composition? Because, it is actually what I think of it... I think these abstract stuffs I uploaded are lacking something. But it was actually the point. These are actually first tests, just spontaneous images, with no thinking.

I enjoy the theme your pursuing in these pieces, where the shapes look as if their in the middle of a soft explosion, a gentle dissolve. Looking forward to the next!

Thanks I will try to paint again as soon as possible, I have a lot of work right now, pretty hard to find the time...

I especially like the green-yellowish - blue - black part in the top left corner. I also like how the colours blend into each other. But on the whole, it's just a tiny little bit too empty for my taste.

Yeah the background is still a problem for me. Most of all, I am looking for spontaneity in these paintings, but for the background, this is another story. The background can hardly be spontaneous... Perhaps I should focus on the watereffects in the background, as happened in abstract 5. The colors are also something I should work on of course. I just wanted to start simple to really understand what I am doing and where I am going (if possible...). This is a very scientific approach

Thanks Don't you think it is a bit too static? Would you have used other colors? Is a background lacking?

it is a bit "static".. it could have a background but i dont know what you would do you know? i think its harder to do that when you are doing that in watercolor.... and i think it could be cool to have a strict color pallete... like use complimentary colors or colors the work together... like different greens or blues or something of that nature.. maybe just cool colors or maybe just warmer colors...

Yes the colors... I have to make it a bit more special. I wanted to start from very simple and go progressively into complexity. This is true for colors too. Warm colors, it is actually a very good idea, I like that
