Absolutely beautiful work! Detail is amazing!! What do you use for the armature? Do you build up sculpture out of foil before applying polymer? GREAT WORK!

Again, a lot of feeling in your sculptures. How long did it take for you to finish this one? Or something like it with this much detail?

To be honest, I lost count on this one. A LOT though, this one is very big. I remember one of the dragons I did that was about 30" long from head to tail, I think it took me maybe 100 hours from start to finish. Give or take, probably even more.

What kind of armature did you use? This sculpt is absolutely incredible!

Thank you! I just use 3/16" thick aluminum armature. I use epoxy clay on certain parts of the armature to give it strength and stability.

Very nice detail, I would like to know what is the material used. I can't imagine it would be clay.

That's a unfamiliar martial to me. I've always used ceramic clay that can be fired in a kiln.

Absolutely! Once I finish the alternate, I'll post pics into my WIP folder I made for this guy. It's more of a symbiotic tail.
