"Become stronger, Yahiko."
For the first day of Ruroken Week I decided to pay tribute to one of my favorite characters, Yahiko Myojin. Out of everyone in Rurouni Kenshin, I feel he learns the most and as a result grows the most. Because of his fierce determination he got to fight alongside Kenshin at the tender age of 10 and later even earned the Sakabato. You go Yahiko, you go.

I feel the same way about this character! And he was one of the most important characters (if not the most) on the Enishi saga. He was one of those kids who was forced to grow up and turned out an awesome character!

That's a nice work, dood ;w; ... I think Sakabato's Journey ends in Kenji's hands, what do you say? Given by Yahiko - that's a nice ending for this sword, too....

Yeah! Kenji would definitely get to use it. Nobuhiro Watsuki said in one of his after words that eventually Yahiko's son Shinya would become rivals with Kenji and fight for the sword, so it's possible that the sakabato would just be passed back and forth between those two families.

Woah, that's a really nice story behind the sakabato! But I think it's kind of sad if Kenji and Shinya are supposed to be something like enemies. Would be much more awesome to see them being friends and rivals in one. ;D

Awesome work! I'm remember read a few chapters all away towards 28 volumes of Rurouni Kenshin, you did pretty good!
