I live in Germany, right... city of Viechtach.
My parents had an exchange student from Uruguay at their house a long time ago. The way I remember her she must be your president now, or close to it

[code]Auch auf den Wellen wird gefochten
Wo Fisch und Fleisch zur See geflochten
Der eine sticht die Lanz' im Heer
Der andere wirft sie in das Meer

Ahoi

Reise, reise, Seemann reise
Jeder tut's auf seine Weise
Der eine stâßt den Speer zum Mann
Der andere zum Fische dann

Reise, reise, Seemann reise
Und die Wellen weinen leise
In ihrem Blute steckt ein Speer
Bluten leise in das Meer

Die Lanze muss im Fleisch ertrinken
Fisch und Mann zur tiefe sinken
Wo die schwarze Seele wohnt
Ist kein Licht am Horizont

Ahoi

Reise, reise, Seemann reise
Jeder tut's auf seine Weise
Der eine stâßt den Speer zum Mann
Der andere zum Fische dann

Reise, reise, Seemann reise
Und die Wellen weinen leise

Bluten leise in das Meer

Reise, reise, Seemann reise
Und die Wellen weinen leise
In ihrem Herzen steckt ein Speer
Bluten sich am Ufer leer

Thanks for the compliment!

The shading looks so perfect, it has a real sense of volume (especially in the lower side and in the headpiece). I'm curious, what's the size of this work?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

anubis46 In reply to temporary-peace [2007-03-20 07:30:25 +0000 UTC]

its rather small, about 28 x 50 cm... I'm working on a larger version at about 50 x 100 cm.

Knowing you're a Libra, this composition takes on an additional meaning The character seems to be poised right on the verge of imbalance, struggling to maintain the vertical and possibly tempted by the possibility of letting go. Precious drawing work.

anubis46 In reply to ersi [2007-03-17 09:31:44 +0000 UTC]

This is what I really like, a composition which just barely keeps it's balance! Thaks for recognizing it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

anubis46 In reply to vcrimson [2007-03-18 10:56:57 +0000 UTC]

just add day month and year of your date of Birth: dd + mm + yyyy = xxxx. Now build the cross total, meaning simply add x + x + x + x = nn. If the resulting number is greater than 22 please add n + n again. Any result equal to or smaller than 22 is your personal number. That's it... let me know and I'll try a little interpretation. You can also note me your birth date if you want me to figure it out for you
