Took a break from endless school work (and I really mean endless- my days consist of working, going to class, coming back to my dorm and sleeping, then working, then sleeping, and so on). I really don't have time for drawing my own stuff, but I ran out of steam so I really had to just do something for myself.I wanted to try practising more concept-arty-brushwork and try to get in details with lose brushwork. Also wanted to try this kind of atmospheric/lighting stuff.
It's my own zoid creation, the Razoraed zoid (name still up in the air, it's just how I refer to it for now I guess). Obviously Anu made into a zoid. It's focus is on crazy agility. I drew it here without it's main gun attatched just so I could establish a more clear silouhette. More detailed shot of it here; [link]

It was actually a purely photoshop drawing (with the help of a tablet of course). Started out with a gradient background, then created a silhouette, roughed in the basic lighter/darker areas, and then worked in the details. Of course, that's a very rough/basic outline of what I did, but I guess it gives a general sense at least XP

Ugh I know what you mean about the "endless" workload. I'm on Reading Week break right now, but the last few weeks were HELL.
I have a 100% courseload and a taking a course which apparently is the hardest undergrad course. Yay Organic Chemistry.

Hooray, I succeeded! Cause I was all focused with the mood, and the colours in particular.

It's...ugh.
Like taking molecules made of carbon and hydrogen, maybe a few others for fun, and reacting them. Figuring out exactly how they react, how quickly, where they react with each other, what their intermediates are, what the final product is, all the properties of the product, etc.
Its hard. And the scary thing is...I LOVE IT. D:
