Description
Time for a new tutorial! Ever since deciding to cosplay Attack on Titan with my friends, I thought that making some flower crowns for us to wear as our characters would be fun as well as fitting. Not only are they adorable on the Shingeki cast, but I also figured that if you're going to jump on the bandwagon, you might as well go all out, right? So far, I've made crowns for the majority of our group and my Eren and Levi and I had a lot of fun wearing them with our cosplays around Northwest Fan Fest in June. ^^ We got a lot of compliments on them as well as questions on how I made them, so I thought this would be an appropriate project to make a tutorial for. :3
Overall, they're extremely easy to make. I can typically knock one out in anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on how clear my design vision is. The biggest thing I can tell anyone making one to just go for it. As long as you have at least a rough idea of what your colour palette will be like, there's very little you can do to mess up. Even if you do, though, you can always just rip your flowers off and start again - it can take a little work to get them off, but it's not the end of the world! This is a project that you can really have fun with and I certainly find that it can be rather calming.
