The best thing about this picture is the implied diagonal the hood creates. Basically, the framing is all that plus a bag of chips. The shadows generated also please the eye.
The thing is my eyes keep rolling back to that piece of clothing. Let's call it a lace. They go down from the face to that lace in the center. Although the hands should lead me away from it, they actually draw me back in once I reach the the edge of the picture.
Nicely done, nevertheless.
