Well, I spent about a week and a half working on this one. As far as hours go I'm really not sure, I kind of worked on it here and there when I could. I really spent a lot of time on it, working on the shading and the detail. I really had fun working on it and am pretty proud of the outcome.
I'd like to thank for the use of her photo "Love Is" which I used as my ref photo!
Oh, and in case there's any confusion, it's a guy and a girl kissing.... i guess if you don't know to look for it, it could be kind of confusing lol
Specs:
9X12 on Canson Classic Cream Paper 4B and 6B Carbon Pencils 
Time: ? Several hours lol But they were fun hours!Enjoy!!

wow. the frist thing I notice is her hair! I love seeing sharp detail in pencil drawings. it's usually hard to achieve that because of smudging and whatnot. but that seems to not plague you at all! this s very beautiful.

finally someone else has heard of jem and actually knows that song!! very uber cool picture though, i really enjoy the fact the skin isnt just a tone but has the little divets of real skin. superb job

This is terrific. You did a great job on the abstract/real side - just abstract enought that when you first look at it, you think "what the hell is this?" and real enough that from then on, you wonder how you ever could have thought that
