So this one took me a little longer than I had originally thought. I had started out drawing this just as something to fill my time, but the more I worked on it the more I took it seriously and really tried to create something good. I fell in love with the lighting and the emotion and his almost downright desperation.

Part of me wishes I had used carbon pencils or charcoal on it. It was supposed to just be an excercise to get myself back into using graphite, aside from just filling my time--- and of course once I realized just how many 8b pencils it was going to take to achieve it, I immediately began to regret the choice. But by then it was too late lol But, in the end, I'm glad I stuck with graphite. Though carbon is my thing, I think this had a "graphite" feel to it.

8b, 6b, 4b, and H pencils, tortillions, q-tips, tissue, and a gum eraser
Not sure on time... I've been working on it on and off for about 2 weeks now.
