This was the first finished of a long line of stuff I had meant to do earlier but never did, and ended up giving to people as Christmas gifts.
I like the border... The text is somewhat messy (just LOOK at those revolting d's) but it's fairly good I think.
The text reads, if you can make it out,
Ave Maria
gratia plen Dominus
tecum; benedicta tu
in mulieribus et benedictus
fructus ventris tui Jesus. Sancta
Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
And in English...
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art though amonst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death. Amen.
