Description Summer of 2009

This was for my story that I've been writing for years and years now but haven't gotten very far on. And this probably will have nothing to do with it now, but oh well. It looks cool.

Thanks to LordShadowblade [link] for helping to work on the armor on the individual on the right.

That bird is... um... more like an owl than a hawk (I intended it to be a hawk).

I really like this one too. Particularly their faces. You should draw armored people more.

Hehehehe.... Armor is hard though. And this isn't very... eh... realistic armor. It was before you met Oakeshott.

Yeah... And judging from my artwork so far, people would probably guess I haven't. I need to draw more armored people. Though I should upload some Oakeshott doodles.

I drew much of this while I was at a week long summer camp... and all the guys would gather round and go "MAN!! That's sick.... seriously sweet, man!"

Week long summer camps are pretty interesting grounds for creativity. For example: While at camp one time, I read the book of Revelation, like, five times. Then another time (this time as an employee), I told hour-long bed-time stories, ripping off of LOTR, Legend of Zelda, and Grimm Brothers.

I read the Brothers Karamazov until like one in the morning on that particular summer camp. And told creepy stories I'd learned from exorcists around the campfire.

Plus, its always fun to open up the conversation as such:
"This one time, at [insert activity] camp..." Hehehe...

The exorcists actually told stories?! I'm kind of jealous. I have an odd fascination with exorcism; the few people I know that have been involved don't divulge much information. It is probably better that way though. SHAMELESS ADVERTISEMENT: Go see "The Rite", starring Anthony Hopkins. Amazing movie!

I used to know an exorcist (he died last summer, sadly). And I've read books. Yeah... it is kind of fascinating... Which is why we need St. Michael, eh?
