Finally, the final battle.

Now, before I get to work on the aftermath of the battle, and you find out what happens to our hero, I just want to say a few things.

First off, I'm sorry this story has gone on for as long as it has. I didn't imagine it would be this long when I started it. It's just one of those cases where the more I wrote, the more I wanted to work into the story to try and make it a better overall story. So to those who've read it all, thank you!

Second, the final battle was always planned to be 'The hero versus a version of his male self'. But finding an image that I felt worked for that has been a pain and a half.

Third... There's multiple endings! I'm going to be posting up at least three (possibly more) endings to show just how this ends, or could have ended. But the main ending (in my mind anyways) will be the first one. Odds are I won't cover all the ways this could have ended, but I hope I give a satisfying ending to those who want one. The extra endings will be put online almost at random over the next week or so in addition to my regular caps.
